One More Summer Card

I was cleaning out my flower garden and came across a few hardy souls still hanging on and so I decided that even though it’s officially Fall, I could still make one more flower card.   I cased this card using the Serendipity Stamps Sunflower Die and the Everyday Words Horizontal stamp.

A Wreath Card

963-Autumn Wreath Tall -Catherine St. Clair - Paper Garden Projects (2)

It’s really starting to look like Fall here in Missouri!  The Sycamore trees are turning bright yellow and the Buckeyes need to be gathered before the squirrels get them all!

Serendipity Stamps Autumn Wreath is a favorite among our Design Team members and customers.   As you can see it’s easy to color – no need to stay in the lines – with a variety of media – chalk, markers, watercolor, etc.   Recently, SSDT member Marybeth Lopez pointed out that it’s not just for autumn – it makes a great Christmas wreath!  Here are lots of examples of this beautiful image.   We also have a small version – perfect for embellishing the inside of your card!

The card above includes our Be Thankful images and was created by customer Catherine St. Clair.  Below you see one of Marybeth’s Christmas versions and below that a gallery of other examples.  Enjoy!

September Challenge:  Summer’s Last Hurrah

What does the end of summer bring to mind?   For me it’s my old standby garden staple – California Giant Zinnias.   Everything else is wilted and gone to seed, but those zinnias keep on producing eye-popping color no matter how badly I neglect them.    Create a design that represents what the end of summer means to you – include a Serendipity Stamps image – and submit it to the Serendipity Stamps Challenge Blog for your chance at $20 off your next order.

The card above was created by DT member Julie Warner using our Zinnia stamp and some paper piecing.   Head on over to the SSCB to see how the DT shows off their end of summer along with some paper piecing.
