Buttons & Chalk 2 (and free shipping too!)

1264-keep your face-anya schrier

Free Shipping on all US Orders over $10 – through 1/22.

Serendipity’s January Challenge is buttons and our DT focused on the chalkboard technique this time.   You still have lots of time to enter our challenge and take a chance at winning $20 off your next order!

Would you look at what Anya did?   Hellooooo???   A green chalkboard!   Why don’t more of us think of that with this technique?   And I love the little highlights she’s added to the “K” in the Keep Your Face To The Sunshine image.   Wouldn’t this be the perfect card to find in your mailbox on a cold January day?

Free Shipping and Buttons and Chalk

Free Shipping on all US orders $10 and over – through 1/22.

The January “Buttons” Challenge for the Serendipity Stamps Challenge Blog continues!   This week our Design Team has provided inspiration in the form of designs created using the Chalkboard Technique.   It’s always so fun to see how well designers match up images that seem just perfect for this technique – images that look just like something you’d find up on a chalkboard!

Jenny Gropp created this card using our Heart Background stamp.   She worried that she was a bit heavy handed with her “chalk” but I think it’s perfect!   Obviously Jenny never had to stay after and bang erasers!   On the inside of her card Jenny used our Love Die with a pretty layered effect.  You can get this stamp and die as a set at a great price!

Encouraging Words

It’s always good to have a stash of cards that can be sent off at a moment’s notice to someone in need of encouragement.   Design Team member Jenny Gropp created this card for Serendipity Stamps Challenge Blog’s January Button Challenge.  She used our Floral and Solid Butterfly dies, Butterfly Kisses, and And The Song.

Keep The Doctor Away!

OK – maybe an apple a day won’t really keep the doctor away, but it can’t hurt right?

Miriam Napier’s entry for the SSCB January buttons challenge includes our Apple and Get Well stamps.

Get Well – Soon!

It’s that time of year – when it seems like everyone I talk to is coughing, sneezing, and wheezing.   So it was good timing for our Serendipity Stamps Design Team to come up with some great “Get Well” designs.

We have a new format for the Serendipity Stamps Challenge.   Each challenge will last a full month.   This gives you lots of time to participate and have a chance to win our badge or our random prize of $20 off your next order.   Our Design Team will continue to provide inspiration for the challenge twice a month but their designs will add an additional element to the month-long challenge.

January’s challenge is to include buttons (stamped, real, die cut – whatever) in your design.   The DT was asked to create designs that included buttons AND “Get Well” or encouraging words.

The card you see here was created by DT member Julie Warner using our Teddy Friends, Get Well Soon, and Button Corner stamps.

Don’t forget!   All of our “button” related stamps are 20% off during January.   Find them all  in our Clearance category.
