Flowers? Weeds? Beautiful Cards!

The farmers around here call them weeds – wild sunflowers and thistles.  And I admit there are times I’ve cursed them as they fill my pasture.   But they sure do add a lot of beauty and color!  Here two members of the SS Design Team, Jeanne Jachna and Marybeth Lopez have used them for our current SSCB challenge Gingham/Polka Dots.  Be sure to send your design including polka dots or gingham and a Serendipity Stamps design in to the SSCB before Sept 9th!

Merry Merry Merry

Serendipity Stamps DT member Julie Warner designed this gorgeous card for our current Gingham or Polka Dot Challenge.   Julie used both patterns along with our Holly With Frame (which is currently 50% off in our wood mounted stamp sale) and Merry Merry Merry rubber stamps.

And today, Wed the 28th, is the last day to take advantage of our 20% Off All Halloween items sale.  The card below was designed by DT Alumni Sue Eldred using our Pirate Puppy Cling Stamp Set.

Gingham and Polka Dots

The current challenge at the Serendipity Stamps Challenge Blog is to submit a design that includes either polka dots or gingham.   How easy is that?  You have until Sept 9th to submit your design and you could win $20 off your next order!

Here are two cards from members of our design team.  The card above was created by Miriam Napier using lots of polka dots along with our new Christmas Tree rubber stamp.  The card below is from Jenny Gropp, who used our new Snowman with Birds rubber stamp along with some cheery gingham paper.

And don’t forget, you have through Wed the 28th to get 20% off any item in our Halloween Category.  DT member Jenny Gropp created the card below using our Graveyard Cling Stamp Set.

I DO like spiders!

How could you not like our cute spider stamp?   And right now he’s 20% off on our Halloween Sale.  I also like the spider below.   I found her in my asparagus patch this morning working on her web.   Hopefully by tomorrow she will have caught and devoured some of those beetles that seem to like munching on my asparagus!   Isn’t she gorgeous?  (Ever since I read Charlotte’s web, 40 or so years ago, all spiders are “she”)

Coneflowers – and a butterfly

I love coneflowers!   They are a native prairie flower and can withstand pretty much everything.   I have a little garden that’s full of perennials.   After last years’ drought the only think still hanging on to life was the coneflower.   This year I gave it some company – more natives – black-eyed susans, Cardinal Flowers, Yellow Coneflowers, and Coreopsis.  Coneflowers are typically pink – like the one you see in the photo – but they come in a variety of other colors.   Plus, it’s your design!   Color it whatever suits your fancy!  Then enter it into the SSCB Butterfly Challenge for your chance to win $20 off your next order.

Queen Anne’s Lace – and a butterfly

Today – Wed Aug 14th – is the last day to “Buy 3, Get a 4th Free” at!

Our gallery of butterflies today focuses on our Queen Anne’s Lace rubber stamp.   It comes in a large and a small size.   Just look at all the different things you can do with this stamp!

Butterflies Butterflies Butterflies

The current challenge at SSCB is to create a design that includes any sort of butterfly.   It can be stamped, die-cut, printed on paper, or even doodled!   Your design must also include a Serendipity Stamps image.  Deadline for entry is August 19th.

Serendipity Stamps has millions of images that include butterflies.  OK – maybe not millions – but we have a LOT.   My next few posts will include galleries of some of our most popular.   We’ll start today with our Butterfly Dies.   Right now, if you buy the Floral Butterfly Stamp and Die set you get 3 stamps free – the Hello, and 2 flowers from the flower set.   Just take a look at the card displayed in the gallery when you view the set and you’ll see what you’ll see the great card you can make with this group of stamps/dies.

You have just a couple days to take advantage of our “Buy 3, Get a 4th Item Free” special!
