There is so much to love about Autumn!   Here in Missouri we have an amazing Department of Conservation which provides many services to protect and manage our wildlife and resources.   They provide information about everything from which native wildflowers will attract and support butterflies to when trout season ends.   They’ll let you know where you’re most likely to see pheasant and how to behave if you happen to run into a bear.  Look for similar resources in your own state – then head outside to experience Autumn!

Serendipity Stamps supports all of you nature lovers too!   Above you see our Angler and Everyday Words stamps.   Below you see our Pheasant stamp, Relax die and Wood Sequins.   This is only a small example – visit the Animals and Garden categories – to see more!

October Blog Hop #1 Winner!

Congratulations to our October #1 blog hop winner Ionabunny!   You won our random drawing for a a $20 gift certificate to use at www.serendipitystamps.com.   Email me at serendipity@serendipitystamps.com to find out how to claim your prize.

This is a card that’s been stewing in my brain for months.   Actually it’s what I had in mind when I asked Judy to draw an “Open Book” image.   I adhered a page from an old book to some re-purposed label stock (does anyone else save all those label stock receipts from the pharmacy, amazon etc?) to give it heft, stamped and then fussy cut the Open Book and adhered it to kraft stock cut die cut with the PPP Stitched Borders 3 die.  For the butterflies I adhered a page from a book to the back side of some Bo Bunny stickers from our Designer Paper Combo, punched them out with a butterfly punch, folded them, and adhered them to my card – some print side up, some sticker side up.   I decided to wait to add a sentiment until I was ready to mail the card.   Some options would be Let Your Dreams Soar, Make A Wish, or our Uplifting Words Cling Stamp Set.

Congratulations to our September #2 blog hop winner Sue LD!   You won our random drawing for a a $20 gift certificate to use at www.serendipitystamps.com.   Email me at serendipity@serendipitystamps.com to find out how to claim your prize.

The cards that I enjoy creating most are the ones that aren’t really for any specific holiday or special occasion.   They are the ones that get tucked away for that day when you think “Oh!   I have the perfect card for her (or him, or them).”  Here are some of those types of cards from our design team.

Above Birgit Edblom used our new Birds Looking Up and Branch dies with our Make A Wish cling stamp set to create this whimsical card.   Below, Miriam Napier used our Leaves Reverse Die and our Uplifting Sentiments stamps for the inside and outside of her pretty autumn card.
