April Blog Hop #2 Winner!

Congratulations to blog hop winner Petra Swart!   You won our random drawing for a a $20 gift certificate to use at www.serendipitystamps.com.   Email me at serendipity@serendipitystamps.com to find out how to claim your prize.

In the photo above you see our new “You and I are Sisters” stamp as used by SSDT member Miriam Napier on the inside of her card.  I designed this stamp so that you could easily leave off the top 2 lines (thinking I’d love to send a card with just the lower lines to my brother!).  Leave it to the Serendipity Stamps Design team to be way ahead of me in creativity!   Take a look at the variety of ways they used this new stamp….

Marybeth left off the top lines and added the new Sister die cut to her card.

When I saw Julie’s card I thought “Oh, that’s sweet – Julie’s made a nice version for her sister!”   Julie’s sister probably thought this too, until she opened her card…

Julie also used our Daisy and Happy Birthday stamps and our Daisy Garden die.   Did you notice how clever she was mimicking the “fall” in the verse with the falling daisy?

Spring has sprung here in the midwest!   Everywhere I look there are flowers bursting with colors.    Around here it’s Dogwood Trees, Tulips, Daffodils, Pear Trees and the list goes on and on.   Even the dandelions are glorious!   In the card above, Marybeth used our new “You and I Are Sisters” stamp.   She also used our Playing Card die set.   Wait….what?   Yup!   The little flowers in the corners are made from Spades and Clubs!  This fantastic new die set includes a card sized die with several sizes of all suits.  Did I mention Dandelions earlier?    I’m a dandelion lover!   Especially when in the hands of talented water color artists SSDT Alumni Holly Craft!   This is an oldie but a goodie – a water color “study” created with our Dandelion Plant, Paint Brush, Ink Splash and Celebrate the Ordinary stamps.

So sorry for the delay!

Please accept my apologies for the delay in orders the last couple of weeks.   I’ve had a family emergency followed by a couple days visit with my daughter followed by another family emergency and funeral.    I don’t mean this to be an excuse, merely an explanation.

If you would like to cancel your order please just email me and I will take care of it.   serendipity@serendipitystamps.com.

I should be back in my shop Monday and will begin catching up then!

Blog Hop Winner!

NOTE:  Thank you for your patience!   I was out of town last week and am working to get caught up on orders!

Congratulations to Carla Hundley!   Carla – you won our random drawing for a $20 gift certificate to use at www.serendipitystamps.com!   Email me at serendipity@serendipitystamps.com to find out how to claim your prize!

I am so in love with these new background dies!   Talk about a quick card with a lot of impact!   And think of all the possibilities.  Carol’s used the Happy Background Die for the card above.    St. Patrick’s Day card?   Yes, but it could just as easily be used for a birthday, anniversary, Easter, or just to wish someone a Happy Day!  Marybeth and Vickie added our new adorable Chick With Butterfly over our Floral Cuts Background Die and Swirl Cuts Background Die below.   You could just as easily add our Bloom Die cut over the floral background or Balloons over the swirls!  Use your craft pick to lift up some flower petals and swirls to let some color peek through.   So many possibilities!

40% Off Coupon!

What should you use your 40% coupon on?

To use your coupon enter “40fromhigh0317” during checkout.   If you have any problems let me know!  (I had it set up incorrectly at first but it should be working now!).

If it were up to me, I’d be spending that coupon on a big splurge.   Something like our new set of Seasons dies  (used above).   Or the Spring Flower Pops Stamps and Dies set (used above and below).   Or one of our new background dies (you’ll see lots of these in our current hop).   Just sayin’….

You can use your coupon on anything except the clear envelopes.   You’ll get 40% off the most expensive item in your cart.   Splurge time!   But yes, you can use it on our 50% Off March stamp of the month, Marble Waves, or you can use it on any of the dies on sale in our Yard Sale.    You can even use it on our Clearance Sale and Wood Mounted Sale stamps!

Shake It Up!

I’ve sent out loads of our shaker boxes in the last month (yup – you can still get a free one with any order!).   Now – it’s time to show off your shaker!   Yes – it’s true that our little shaker box is simply a small clam-shell box – but that’s what I love so much about paper crafters – we can take just about anything and make it look great on a card!   Shaving cream – check.   Kleenex box – gorgeous!   Toilet paper roll – yup done that!

Shaker Box Card Contest

Email a photo, or a link of your posted photo – of the shaker card you created with your Serendipity Stamps Shaker box – to serendipity@serendipitystamps.com.   Send it by March 31st and you’ll have a chance to win a $20 gift certificate to use at www.serendipitystamps.com.    I’ll post the entries and the winner right here on Monday April 3rd!

To be eligible, your shaker MUST be made with a Serendipity Stamps Shaker Box.   Extra kudos if you  send an additional photo that shows your unfinished card with your shaker box “exposed” for us to see how you assembled your card!

Jeanne’s card shown at the top was made with our Poinsettia and Leaf Solid and Happy Holidays ($2 Cling Sale) stamps.  Marybeth’s card below was created with our Mailbox With Hearts Cling Set.

Anyone else have this song running through your head when you read the title of this blog post?   I know, I know – I’m showing my age….

Blog Hop Winner!

Congratulations to “craftymom205” for winning our random drawing for a $20 Gift Certificate to use at www.serendipitystamps.com.   Please contact me at serendipity@serendipitystamps.com to find out how to claim your prize!

I love the SS Design Team hops!   They provide such a great variety of themes and techniques, giving us ideas for the next couple of holidays on the calendar as well as inspiration for every day cards you might need to add to your stash.   Then there are those “Aha!” cards that show off ways to use new stamps or dies (like Marybeth’s adorable card above) and those “Wow!” cards that show off ways to use our Stamp of the Month (like Julie’s “fit for framing” card below).   On the card above, Marybeth used our new Swirl Cuts Background Die and our Bunny With Carrot stamp.  A super quick card with lots of texture and loads of cute!  On the card below, Julie used our Marble Waves Background Stamp (50% during March) along with our Three Ducks stamp and the Spring Die from our new set of Seasons dies.
