It’s the beginning of a new month and that means the beginning of a new Serendipity Stamps Challenge! This time it’s stitches. Simply create a design that includes an SS image plus some form of stitching – real, die cut, stamped or hand drawn. Submit it to the Serendipity Stamps Challenge blog for a chance to win a $20 gift code!
Our DT members had another element added to their challenge and that was to include a vehicle. Marybeth Lopez created this cute card using our Tractor. Check out the SSCB to see the other amazing examples of stitching/vehicles.
A few days ago I posted a card that DT member Marybeth Lopez created using our Bread and Chalice stamp. Here is another one – this time from DT member Jeanne Jachna. Jeanne also used Oh Happy Day. Two completely different cards – each beautiful!
You still have time to enter our Typeprint/Sheet music challenge! It ends March 3rd. Just hop over to the Serendipity Stamps Challenge blog. You could be the random winner of a $20 Gift Code!

Right now as I look out at my garden all I see is a sea of mud and slush. But I can close my eyes and imagine it filled with flowers and vegetables! It won’t be long until it’s time to start planting! And just to get you in the mood here are 3 gorgeous floral cards from our design team. These all include some form of print or music. Have you entered our type print/sheet music challenge yet? You still have time to submit your entry to the Serendipity Stamps Challenge blog for your chance to win a $20 gift code! But hurry – the deadline is March 3rd!
The cards above were created by:
Jeanne Jachna using our Thistle
Anya Schrier using our English Rose
Karen Amidon using our Violets Large
It’s been a while since I posted a “With One Stamp” theme. Since a couple of our recent DT Challenge posts featured out Cupcake and Candle Die I thought it was fitting that I showed you a whole bunch of examples. Enjoy!
On cold, snowy, Saturday evenings I love nothing better than to spend a couple of hours preparing a wonderful meal with my husband and sitting down with a nice bottle of wine to enjoy it. It helps that our kiddos are off at college and we don’t have to hear “what’s IN this stuff anyway?” On warm, sunny, Friday summer afternoons, I love to have the neighbors over, sit on the patio and enjoy some fresh peaches off our tree, cheese from the local goat lady and a nice cool bottle of my husband’s home-made mead. Our Wine and Cheese stamps are the perfect reminder for just such occasions.
DT member Anya Schrier used Serendipity Stamps’ Heart Teapot Cling Set to create her card for our current Type Print/Sheet Music challenge.
Have you entered one of our challenges yet? Did you know we choose one random entry each month to win a $20 Gift Certificate for Serendiipity Stamps? So don’t be bashful! Even if you’re a newbie and unsure of yourself, make a card with a Serendipity Stamps image that includes some newsprint or sheet music (the newspaper, a magazine, junkmail) and submit it to the Serendipity Stamps Challenge blog. You’ll get great feedback from our DT letting you know what they like about your card. Why not give it a try?
There are so many possibilities with our current Type Print/Sheet Music Challenge. Serendipity Stamps Design Team member Marybeth Lopez didn’t use any type print or sheet music on the front of her card – but she used it beautifully on the card’s envelope and inside! She used the Bread and Chalice Cling Set, and May The Peace. This is an absolutely beautiful set of designs, and yet very Clean and Simple.
You don’t need to go out and buy expensive scrapbook paper for your type print or sheet music. Most thrift stores have old hymnals, dictionaries and of course lots of other books on their shelves!
The SS Design Team was asked to include a food-related image as well as type print or sheet music in their challenge card.
Karen Amidon used our Cooking Tools stamp to make her card. On the inside she used Love You and some of the hearts cut from the Love Die.
You can join our challenge by submitting your type print/sheet music design to the Serendipity Stamps Challenge Blog by March 3rd.
