$1 Cling Stamps Go With Serendipity Stamps Dies
We have lots and lots of stamps in our $1 Cling Stamp sale! Many of them coordinate with our dies. For example the “Thanksgiving” stamp works great with our Blessings Die. Or how about the Boo! stamp with the Creepy Wreath die? There are lots of options! Check them out!
Serendipity Stamps is sponsoring this weeks’ CASology Challenge – the cue word is SILLY! Enter your Clean and Simple AND silly card for your chance to win a $20 Gift Certificate to use at www.serendipitystamps.com.
When I heard “silly” I immediately thought of this card created by DT alumni Sue Eldred years ago for one of our challenges. The theme was “70’s”. Sue had a great story about a wild pair of pants she had with a loud floral print. Back then, she loved those pants – who wouldn’t? Now? She says “What was I thinking!?!”
The winner of our random drawing from commenters on our October Release Blog Hop is Stamping Smiles Designs! Congratulations! Contact me at email@example.com to find out how to claim your $20 gift certificate to use at www.serendipitystamps.com.
This is one of the cards from our hop! Marybeth Lopez created this using our new Hocus Pocus stamp. This large stamp is great for creating a quick card – just stamp, add a bit of color or bling and you’re done! Want to see the other cards from the hop? Just scroll down a bit to the post and you’ll find a list of the designer’s links. Enjoy!

Mary’s Blog (You’re right here!)
Creating your own background can be so easy! On the card above SSDT member Miriam Napier used our Japanese Maple and a variety of colors to create a beautiful background in a few seconds. Add a beautiful verse (our Autumn Is) and in a few more seconds you have a completed beautiful card!
TODAY – Sept 30th is the last day to get our Japanese Maple stamp 50% off!
Creating your own background can also be an opportunity to take some time to try out a new technique. On the card below SSDT member Vickie Zimmer created a water color background and then stamped over that with the Japanese Maple. Isn’t that background stunning? Again, just add our new Blessings Die cut, a few sequins, and Voila! Another beautiful card.
You have lots of time – until Oct 5th – to enter our Create Your Own Background challenge. Give it a go! You could win our blog badge, or maybe even our random drawing for a $20 Gift Certificate!
Be sure to pop in this Friday, Oct 2nd for our October Release Blog Hop!

DT Alumni Sue Eldred created the fun Red Ribbon card above using our Stamp of Approval.
You never know what you’re going to need to celebrate. A birthday, wedding, anniversary, or maybe the first snowfall of the year! This card would work for any of the above. Make yourself a pile of these in different colors – maybe with different sequins or confetti – balloons, wedding bells, snowflakes…and you’ll be ready for all sorts of occasions.
Serendipity Stamps Design Team member Marybeth Lopez made this card using our Celebrate Die and the PPP Stitched Duo Die. Did you know that we carry the entire line of Pretty Pink Posh dies? Marybeth also created her own background using our Jen’s Zen background stamp. Perfect inspiration for our current “Create Your Own Background” challenge! You have lots of time to enter your own background creation for your chance to win a $20 Gift Card! On the card below, Marybeth used our Everyday Words stamp and the PPP Stitched Banner Duo 1 die.
Our new Birdies Dies are so much fun! Think of a bird you see at your feeder and you can make it. On Design Team member Marybeth Lopez’ card above I see 3 birds that I see here in Missouri all summer – a female goldfinch (poor girls are so dull compares to their mates!), an indigo bunting, and a bluebird. I have no idea if these are the birds Marybeth thought she was making but this is what they look like to me! Marybeth also created a fun background using our Leaf Word Background stamp. Another great inspiration for this month’s Create Your Own Background Challenge! Below is a gallery of cards created using our Birdies Dies. You’ll also see lots of our other dies and stamped images. Just leave a comment below if you have any questions!
