Yard Sale Bargains!

It’s time to clean shop at Serendipity Stamps!   After 15 years of business I’ve got things that I just don’t need any more.   But maybe you do!   So I’ve set up a yard sale with bargains galore and they will change all the time.  Most items are stamping related, but just like most yard sales, you never know what you’ll find (for example, right now you’ll find the brand new snow pants and goggles I had to buy last month when my suitcase got lost on the way to a family ski trip – never had to use them!).  Some items I have lots of – like clean, unused wood blocks.   Others I have only one – like the slightly used Power Punch with 4 new punches.   Go take a look.   If an item says it’s sold out, email me to be sure – sometimes the inventory gets wonky.

Anything Goes Challenge!

February’s Serendipity Stamps Challenge is Anything Goes!   That’s right – make any card and as long as it includes a Serendipity Stamps image you can submit it to our Blog and you could be the winner of our random drawing for a $20 Gift Certificate!

The card above was created by DT member Jeanne Jachna.   It would make the perfect “Valentine” to send to your best friend or to the friend you haven’t seen in years, or to your husband or your sister.  Jeanne used our Table For Two Set.

Below are two cards from DT member Jenny Gropp.   In the top one, Jenny used our Shamrock, Poker Chip, and Lucky Dies.  In the next one Jenny used our Chick with Egg stamp.

Birthday Card Blog Hop Winner!

Congratulations  Kris B, the winner of our random drawing from commenters on our recent blog hop.   Kris won a $20 Gift Certificate to use at  Kris, email me at to find out how to claim your prize!

I made a few birthday cards this weekend too!   I have a stack of glossy cardstock that’s been gathering dust for ages – I pulled some out and brayered up some wild and crazy colors (have to do something when all I see outside is white and brown!).   Used this with our new Birthday Die and Party Balloons Die, and our Happy die and our Happy Birthday Simple stamp.   Quick Note:   The white balloon background on the card above is created by using the Party Balloons die.   Just cut out white balloons and glue them randomly, leaving the “strings” loose so that you can snip them off if they become too distracting.

Add Some Stripes!

It’s a New Year!

We’re switching things up a bit here at Serendipity Stamps.   On the first day of each month we’ll start a new Challenge at the Serendipity Stamps Challenge Blog.   On the 3rd Wed. of each month our Design Team will host a Blog Hop.   And all month long we’ll have a 50% off Stamp of the Month!   So you’ll have lots of time to create and enter our challenge for your chance to win our blog badge or our random gift certificate for $20!

January Challenge – Stripes!

Our challenges this year will focus on patterns and textures – something almost all projects include!   We’re starting out with Stripes – any amount of stripes will do – do you see the stripes on the adorable little box above?    DT Alumni Holly Craft created this box using the following stamps and dies:  Love Die, Heart Scroll Die, Heart Solid Die, Cupcake Die, Quilted Heart, Happy Valentines Day, and Valentine Postoid stamps.

January Catalog Release – Happy Birthday!

Each month we’ll feature a group of stamps from our catalog that support a theme.   The Blog Hop on the 3rd Wed of the month will show off that group of images.   This month our theme is Birthdays.   Here’s your chance to check off that resolution you made to make and mail all your birthday cards early!   Click the link below to open and print the release.

Cutest Little Cottage Ever!

Isn’t this little cottage candy box adorable?   Design Team member Karen Amidon created this wonder using our Cottage Die.  Karen is teaching a class to make this project at the store Impressive Ideas, in Norcross, GA.  If you’re close be sure to check out this newly re-opened store!

This fun die comes with lots of accessory dies!   It’s not just for gingerbread houses!   DT member Jeanne Jachna used it to make a bright little birdhouse to go with our Birdies die.  She also used our Blessings die and one of our little $1 stamps.
