New Stamper? Don’t miss these bargains!

yard sale ink pads 007

The best – and the worst – thing about being new to paper crafting is all the great products you “need” to buy!   Serendipity Stamps is here to help!   I’ve just uploaded several sets of a variety of ink pads (with reinkers) to our Yard Sale!   Most of these pads have been used only once – if they’ve been used at all!   Most are class sets where only one or two colors was usually used (don’t worry – the pad used in the class was tossed out!).   As usual with our Yard Sale items – there is only 1 of each item!   So don’t wait or it may disappear!  Not sure what some of these inks are?   Google them – you’ll find lots of info AND you’ll see that these are a great bargain!

BUT – if the website says that the product is sold out and you wanted it- please email me at serendipity@serendipitystamps.com.   The inventory feature is a bit wonky and sometimes it makes things up!  We may actually still have that product.

Be sure to check out our grab bags of unmounted stamps, mounted stamp sets, and designer paper when you’re shopping at the yard sale!  Below is a gallery of the ink pads in the yard sale.

Adding Fabric to Cards

633-Baby Carraige - Anya Schrier

It’s a new month and that means a new Serendipity Stamps Challenge!   This month we’re adding fabric to cards.   It’s so easy to add a bit of fabric to a card and it adds so much in terms of texture, softness and interest.   Of course you can stitch, stamp on, die cut, paint or do just about anything else with fabric.   But you can also just add it to your background like DT Alumni Anya Schrier did on her pretty card above.   Anya used our Baby Carriage and A New Addition stamps on her card.

Jump on over the the Serendipity Stamps Challenge Blog to see lots of ideas for adding fabric from our Design Team.   This month we’re also featuring lots of our baby stamps so you can get lots of baby card ideas too!  Be sure to enter your own card – including fabric and at least on Serendipity Stamps image – by August 29th to be in our random drawing for a $20 Gift Certificate!

Stamp of the Month

Each  month we offer one image 50% off.   This month it’s our Lamb With Heart.  A perfect Baby Card image – gender neutral!  DT member Jeanne Jachna made the beautiful card below using our Lamb With Heart, Sugar and Spice, and Baby Girl Small stamps.

Stamp What You Love!

219bicyclebirgit

In the past year or so I’ve started riding my bike again – my very, very, very old bike.   And I love it!   My dad gave my bike to me on my 16th birthday – in 1979.   But the old girl still rides like the wind (OK, maybe just a soft breeze).   What do you love to do?   I bet there’s a stamp for that!  Check out www.serendipitystamps.com – if you can’t find it email me at serendipity@serendipitystamps.com and ask – maybe it’s something I need to add!

The card above was created by Birgit Edblom using our Life is Like Riding Cling Set.  The card below was created by Karen Amidon using our Tandem Bicycle Cling Set, Party Balloons Reverse Die and It’s a Special Day $1 stamp.   And below that is a photo of my bike!

Do you love shells?

638 shells miriam

FREE SHIPPING – Good through Sunday 7/24 – All US orders $25 or more!

I love sea shells!   They are a rare and beautiful treat (if you live in Missouri – sea shells are rare).   Our current Serendipity Stamps Challenge is “Just Add Water” – for some that might instantly make you think “watercolor”.   But it can mean all sorts of things – boats, fish, sprinklers, and of course, shells!   When I saw the card Miriam made for our hop yesterday it brought back lots of memories – not just of the sea, but also of my very first rubber stamping experience!   How many of you got hooked on stamping when you saw embossing for the first time?   And how many of you haven’t touched your heat gun in ages?   This card immediately had me digging out my gold EP and my heat gun!   Miriam used our Sea Shells Cling set for the front of her card.   Then she added our Dream die for the inside.

Want to enter your card right now?   Just click here!

Want to see more samples of cards made with our Sea Shells Set?  Click our Facebook Link to the right and you’ll see several that I uploaded today!

Brighten Someone’s Day!

Make a Wish Lori Craig

I can’t look at a sunflower without smiling!   They just make me happy!   And this cheerful card from Lori Craig does exactly that too.   Yesterday I introduced you to Lori and showed off her work with the Uplifting Words sentiments she designed for Serendipity Stamps.   Today Lori is pulling out all the stops with her Kansas Girl roots.   She used our Sunflower Dies and the Make A Wish stamp set (which she also designed!).   Be sure to visit Lori’s blog to see exactly how she created this fun card!

Be sure to tune in tomorrow for our monthly blog hop.   Our theme this month is Believe, Create, Imagine, Dream.
