It’s that time when the world is lush with color and scent and fluttering and buzzing. Even if your garden consists of a small pot of petunias on your windowsill – you’ve got summer. Here’s a sampling of Summer at Serendipity Stamps, all courtesy of DT Member Miriam Napier. Below the cards is a list of all the stamps used.
Thanks to Serendipity’s great customers for your patience! Serendipity Stamps is one-woman operation and while my goal is to get all orders shipped within a week, this summer I’ve gotten behind more than once. Back on track now!

Flowers! Flowers! Flowers!
It’s May so of course it’s time to focus on flowers. You can double dip with two Flower Challenges right now. Serendipity Stamps is sponsoring the CASology challenge this week and the cue is – you guessed it – FLOWER! Make your CAS card with a Serendipity Stamps image and you can also enter it in the Serendipity Stamps Challenge Blog’s challenge – FLOWERS!
Can You Resist Flowers?
When you pop over to the SSCB you’ll see that our DT’s challenge this week is to create designs that include Flowers AND a resist technique. Each member chose a different resist technique – check it out for lots of great ideas and inspiration!
This little CAS card was made using our Wildflower and For You Small stamps. I colored the rubber with aqua crayons, spritzed it with water, stamped, and then added a bit more color where needed.
20% Off Alphabets Category!
What else would we pick for the Serendipity Stamps Challenge Blog challenge for May? Flowers! We kick it off today with an added challenge for the SSDT. They had to use one of the letters from our Floral Alphabet. Hop on over to the Challenge Blog and see what they did.
The image above is the letter “B – Black eyed Susan” from the Floral Alphabet, water colored by the Cathy Ledeker, the artist who created this alphabet. Just look at all the amazing detail in this 2″ letter.
Be sure to take advantage of the Alphabets sale – and throw in a grab bag on your way out!

The Missouri State Flower is the Dogwood. If you drive through just about any portion of Missouri next month you’ll see leaves just starting to bud on trees, just a green mist. And you’ll see bright flashes of white and sometimes pink, scattered about. These are the Dogwood trees.
The gallery above consists of designs created by our Design Team and customers using our Large Dogwood, and Small Dogwood stamps. Enjoy!
And don’t forget – you still have time to enter your design into this month’s Serendipity Stamps Challenge Blog. This month we’re looking for “stitching” – real, stamped, embossed, hand -drawn – you name it!
And last, but not least, be sure to drop in this Friday and hop along on our New Release Blog Hop featuring our new Tea Dies!
Violets are blue – and sometimes yellow – but more often they are, well, violet.
Just look at all the cards created using our Violet Large and Violet Small stamps. Do you have this stamp in your stash? Pull it out and make a card, add some stitching to it and enter it in the current Serendipity Stamps Challenge! You could be the next random winner of a $20 gift code!
Don’t have our Violets? Head over to www.serendipitystamps.com and order it during our FREE SHIPPING special this week!
The current challenge over at the Serendipity Stamps Challenge Blog is to create a design that includes typeprint or sheet music – and a Serendipity Stamps image. Enter your design by March 3rd for your chance to win $20 off your next order!
Our DT had an additional challenge – they had to include food along with their typeprint. Jenny Gropp used our Pea Package Cling set to create her card. A perfect inspiration for me! I have my seed catalogs out full of turned down corners so that I can start placing my orders for this year’s garden.
