If You Could Choose One Color…

Green – that would be my one color.   When I go to the gym, I’ve got my green water bottle, my green iphone and my green ear buds.   Our current Challenge is all about ONE color.   It’s called “Shades of Grey” but you can use any color.  However, when I started hunting through my sample cards for monochrome cards, things got complicated.   Is pink and white monochrome?   What if you add black to that?   What if the card is all green and taupe but you add a purple ribbon?    Give it a shot – enter your “monochrome” card into the challenge!   What’s your favorite color?

In The Library

063booksvickiezimmer

I love books.   And I LOVE libraries.   I remember wandering through the Ferguson, MO library with my mom, or sitting in the children’s section leafing through yet another Dr. Doolittle book.   I’m fortunate enough to have shelves and shelves of books that once belonged to my grandparents – the works of Mark Twain, Thackery, Dickens and more!  Today I do most of my libraray snooping on-line.   I’ll get interesting in, say, Wabi Sabi, hop onto my library’s online catalog, place my holds, and in a couple of days I have a whole stack of books on Wabi Sabi!   It’s like magic!   And it’s free!

OK, enough book babble.   SS DT member Vickie Zimmer used our Books stamp to make her Shades of Grey Challenge card.   So simple and so elegant at the same time!   Below are a few other cards made with our Books and Love Of Learning stamps.
