A Card to Encourage

Everyone – I mean everyone – needs a little enouragement at times.  Our Never, Never, Never stamp is just the ticket for so many occasions.   Make yourself a stack of encouraging cards and have them ready and waiting to send to those who need it!

I needed some encouragement this weekend.   I was getting ready to run my first half-marathon and I was scared witless!   And then Friday night in walks my eldest daughter who’d driven across the state to surprise me and to come watch me run!   She did more than that – she met me at mile 10 and ran the last 3 miles with me.   That was all the encouragement I needed – her beside me saying “Come on Mama, you can do it!”

One of my daughters is graduating from high school this year.  We spent last night watching old home videos to transfer to a DVD to play at her party.  Oh what fun!   I have 3 girls – each looks and acts completely different from the other.  This little card above, created by SSDT member Cathy Weber is so cute! (Calico Background and Quilted Hearts)  I still have a box of my favorite little outfits from my girls and I’m betting there’s one in there that looks much like this!

How many of you watch PBS’ “Call The Midwife?”   –  Lord they loved their “prams”!   All those babies lined up in a row in their carriages just catching some air.   Jenny Gropp used our Baby Carriage in blue in her gorgeous card below.
