“Simple” Christmas Cards

NOTE:  The Serendipity Stamps workshop will be closed December 21 through January 4th.  You are welcome to place orders during that time – in fact I’ve added some specials to our website – checkout the Deal Of The Week.

Our Design Team’s Challenge this week was to create a Super Simple Christmas project.   I really think some of my DT members need an intervention – “simple” is just NOT in their vocabulary!   But we’ll just replace “simple” with “stunning” and all will be well.

The card below was made by Miriam Napier using 482 Mistletoe Large.

The card below was made by Kathie Bailey using 486 Christmas Ball and 1136 Season’s Greetings.

The card above was made by Jenny Gropp using 1251 Snowman Trio.
The card below was made by Anya Schrier using 1252 Quilted Tree.

The card below was made by Amy Cokley using 411 Christmas Whimsy Set and 1035 Merry Christmas.

Tea Time

Serendipity Stamps is happy to announce the addition of Jeanne Jachna to our Design Team!   Check out her blog at http://akeptlife.blogspot.com/  Welcome Jeanne!

Last week’s challenge was “Tea Time”   Take a look at the SS DT’s contributions to this theme.  Look closely!   These cards are full of beautiful and clever little details.

The card below was created by Amy Cokley using 636D Japanese Teapot.  It’s hard to tell from the photo, but Amy used a clear glaze on her red teapot.

The card below was created by Anya Schrier, using 1242E Heart Cup and 1240D You’re Just My Cup.   Notice that her cup is a postage stamp and the words are stamped on a Post Card!

The card below was made by Miriam Napier using 635QCL Tea Pot Cling Set.  The top image is the front of her card and the next one is the inside of her card.  Miriam used beautiful Japanese Washi paper for her background.

The card below was made by Jenny Groppe using images from the 1240QCL You’re Just My Cup Cling Set.   On the outside of the card she stamped the Heart Teapot and on the inside corner, she stamped the cup.

And last but not least we have Kathie Bailey’s card.   Kathie used the Heart Cup 1242E image and the Tea Border 080E image for her card.
