Wine Coaster- Made by Mary Dew Lee
This "coaster" is made from a 4" tumbled marble tile that I bought at Home Depot.
Since marble is porous it absorbs the ink and makes it more durable.
The tumbled edges give it a wonderful rustic look and it forms
a nice border. I stamped the images with black Staz On (Tsukineko) ink, heated
with a heat gun to be sure it was dry, then used a sponge to
daube on Color Box Fluid Chalk inks. I heat it again to set the
chalk ink. I've wiped the coaster off with water and the inks
have stayed fine so far.
